Antelope Springs is a beautiful ranch with elevated, expansive views of the Boulder and Pioneer Mountain Ranges and the lower elevation, Wood River Valley. The ranch consists of 569 fully fenced acres; with three sides bordered by 5,000 acres of the BLM Spud Lot Grazing Allotment.
Located just 12 miles from Friedman Airport, 6 miles from world renowned fly fishing on Silver Creek and 25 miles from the world famous, Sun Valley Resort, Antelope Springs is a world away but close to everything this wonderful area has to offer.
The property features three large ponds, stocked with nice sized Rainbow and Brooke Trout and a small dock for launching your canoe or paddleboard. The largest pond was designed with an island to provide sanctuary for nesting waterfowl. Geese, ducks, pelican, blue heron and an occasional swan call these ponds “home”. Up two valleys you’ll enjoy meandering streams and maybe even catch a glimpse of watering elk, mule deer or antelope. Throughout the property, thoughtfully planted trees dot the landscape and a 5,000 tree Federal Windbreak program protect the crops and fields to the west. There are two Springs, an Artesian Well and Willow Creek to proving plenty of domestic and irrigation water. The property has very good water rights. Two center pivots and hand lines are included.
The south bordering hills offers horseback riding and atv trails, with private meadows and 360 degree views. In the spring and early summer, wildflowers abound and gorgeous lichen covered boulders add to the landscape.
A large barn with six stalls and a heated tack room, large riding arena and corrals are perfect for the horse lover. Also included is a 30’x60’ metal barn (with electricity) and various out buildings. The original homestead, three bedroom one and a half bath house, with a walk in meat locker and walk out basement, sits next to a tranquil pond, bordered by mature trees and gardens.
